World Book Day

The first 🌎 World Book 📚 day was organised by UNESCO and celebrated on 23 April in 1995.

It continues to be recognised on that day. This specific date was chosen as an anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare as well as that of the birth or death of several other prominent authors.

📣 To celebrate this important holiday we decided to launch the contest with very simple rules:

📖 Advise a book for us to read and explain why you picked this specific book.

🏆 One author of most original suggestion which will be chosen by game’s Administration will get any $99,99 package as a present for free.

Dear players,

We have finally read all your suggestions and as a Team couldn't choose one particular winner so we let the fortune decide. The random number generator selected the winner. His name is BigJohn316!

Contact with Support team in order to get your reward.

We would like to thank all participants! There are more interesting contests and events waiting for you very soon!

I always like asking new people "If you recommended one book to read, what book would you chose and why?"

It's a great conversation topic :-)

I have gone away, taken up and read many people's main suggestion. One of those books, I in turn heartily recommend onward.

The book is called "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom

Eddie is a wounded war veteran, an old man who has lived, in his mind, an uninspired life. His job is fixing rides at a seaside amusement park.

On his 83rd birthday, a tragic accident kills him as he tries to save a little girl from a falling cart. He awakes in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a destination.

It's a place where your life is explained to you by five people, some of whom you knew, others who may have been strangers.

One by one, from childhood to soldier to old age, Eddie's five people revisit their connections to him on earth, illuminating the mysteries of his "meaningless" life, and revealing the haunting secret behind the eternal question: "Why was I here?"

The book is one of those gems that offers something more than just a story, the five people who the character meets in heaven whom he has had the most impact on in his life are not all the ones he expected or even realised ... which nicely poses the question, who would be the five people we ourselves individually as readers, meet in heaven?
When is this contest over and when/where will winner be announced?

I would advice everyone to read the book John Barleycorn by Jack London, its a exiting book filled with history and about the social facilitation of alcohol written in a very dark way.
Seria książek o Wiedźminie, na bazie której powstała jedna z najlepszych gier w polskim wydaniu oraz historii Geralda z Rivi, której nie oparł się nawet NETFLIX i stworzył serial. :):)
Divan-ı Kebir, written by Mevlana, is a must-read book. This work, written about 800 years ago, causes great changes in the world of emotions and thoughts. In this book, which is translated into many languages of the world, love and its great importance are explained while seeking answers to the question of why we came to the world. I recommend you to read and recommend this book
